I'm 24, when I was 12 I started playing guitar and when I was 16 I started working out. There is a tendon/nerve that runs as good as I can guess along the top of my forearm through the lower backside of my elbow (between to roundings of bone). When I originally started working out I could always feel a 'rolling' sensation in this tube between the bone craters of the elbow that was uncomfortable but not painful. I stopped lifting at age 20 but continued playing guitar. I began to get numbing on the outside of my hand and a shooting 'sticthing' pain on my forearm when my sessions would become heated. Recently I started working out because it has been getting so bad (over the course of many years) if I have to support my weight on and this arm alone (my left; frethand) at an extended length a rush of sharp tingling stitching shoots up my arm. My doctor told me to take a break playing the guitar. So I did. No improvement; atall. NONE. Then I started reading about b-12 and working out the main muscles to support the elbow and the tendons. I've been working out steady for nearly 3 weeks and I believe (although maybe im just being hopeful) my arm is getting better but I can't find any information on what good excercises or nutrients I need to do/take for this. Anything where I have to extend and push with my left arms gives me pain, curls and such don't. Has anyone had similar problems to this, do I have to work it out and take it slow? Or am I a cripple and the more I do to try to fix it the more ill cause problems? Do I need some kind of surgery to move this 'tube' that 'rolls' in my elbow on my left arm but not my right?
Cheers
