i've not specifically hit them in about 1.5 weeks, exam schedule nuts.. etc. I did do bench presses for the first time back on friday a little and more on monday. I know you work a little incidental tricep when benching so I figure that's the problem. It's sort the most on my left tri, right where it connects to my elbow.

with all my injuries, should I be taking some sort of joint supplements? if it helps me recover faster, i'm interested in it.

and my upper back: you know it all still hurts, i'm just not hitting it specifically in the gym, no arm rows, cable rows or lat pulldowns, nor pec deck rear [delts]. I just saw a website and it shows that the traps go farther down the back, beyond just the neck. am I re-injuring my back when i work the traps with exercises like the shrug? i use dbs or the barbell loaded up.

It sounds like you just need to take a few weeks off from everything since you have all these injuries. If i remember correctly you said you only bench the bar how can you get all these injuries when youre not even lifting heavy at all.maybe take some time off and let your body rest for a while.

^I agree with Tony here, if you're getting pain from just benching the bar then there's probably something else wrong..

and yes I know you can't stand the layoff talk and that you would go crazy while not training but I'd give myself some rest and/or go see a doc if you're having all these injuries man, that's just my 2 cents.

I think you should incorporate the trap WO either with back or shoulder day. They are used on back and shoulder day and you dont wanna push em too hard

as my trainer you should know i injured my upper back a few weeks ago and i'm staying away from any back workouts for that specific reason.
