About a week ago I was supersetting biceps and triceps and I started to notice a minor pain or discomfort on my elbow while I was supersetting dumbell curls with overhead one arm dumbell exstensions. I did finish my full workout cause the pain was so minimal. I iced it as soon as I got home figuring it would definatley be gone the next day. but I still had the pain the next day. The pain seems to be located a square inch behind my elbow toward the tricep. So I took a week off and have been iceing the hell out of it the last 2 days. The minor pain seems to be when I push out or fully exstend outward as if to flex my tricep. The discomfort would be maybe 2-3 outta 10, but it seems like the pain hasn't gotten much better in a week, so I'm starting to get bumed out. I'm ganna start downing fish oil, glucosamine, IB brofin, and continue with the ice, but I gatta get to the gym soon. Just wondering if anyone has had this type of problem? or any helpfull info? I was thinking about trying to workout around the injury or just doing what I normaly do, maybe just a little lighter? I normaly lift with reps of 275 on Flat bench, 100lbs dumbells on incline. Just to give ya an idea.

its probably tendonitis, i had it b4 from doing skull crushers it lasts about 2 weeks if you give it a rest and take care of it. try the ice and take anti inflammatory drugs , and dont lift for two weeks if it doesnt get better see your doctor. i had mine bcuz i added skull crushers into my routine, and one arm db overhead.

I got the "exact same thing", mine was a burning sensation about 1" below my elbow (right arm), I was going skull crushers 2nd set after a warm up set I added like 50 pounds and it started to burn, I reduced the weight and it went away, maybe try warming up the triceps with 2 lighter sets before you do it.

I am going to test that theory today, I also do biceps and triceps together, which is today I'll let you know how it goes.

I did skull crushers today, I noticed the heavier I went the more my elbow hurt, but it was only during the lift, not after the set, either way I made it through the workout

I just recovered from mine, had a bone spur removed. Right on the right elbow.. it was pushing up into my tendon and causing tremendous pain.. Could not do any pushing movements.. I had to have surgery to remove it and now I'm pain free and benching upwards in the 225 to 235 range..

I don't know if your issues is the same as mine. But we are in this together.. I thought I needed to share.

Best of luck.. PM if you need anymore info

Chris

I only feel the discomfort when doing lying tricep extensions, I can bench and to shoulders presses and the rest without any type of discomfort.

When I did mine though I was lifting pretty heavy.
