My left elbow is doing something new. Possibly tendinitis or something similar. Its not an agonizing pain when Im lifting its just this feeling of a lack of strength and numbness. I am in the middle of a tribulus cycle and making such great gains. It is troubling me that I could have to take a week off or so. Any one no anything about possible elbow tendinitis? Thanks.

where is your pain exactly,, rate the pain on a scale of 1 to 10,,, 1 being the lowest form of pain you can handle and 10 being the most you can handle..

Its at most a 3 but the pain is not the problem it is this weak feeling I get. Im almost one hundred percent sure its the tendon. I could continue but as I go through my work out it gets worse. But if I had to give it a place it would be on the top, two inches up and down my arm from the elbow and about one inch inside my arm. If that makes sense.

Outside, it feels as though I over extended it. Which I may have.

Ok, here's the deal, follow me word for word,, don't skip a line,,ok,,

1. Get a styrofoam cup and fill it with water and freeze it.
2. Once frozen cut the bottom out about 1/2 inch, exposing the ice.
3. Perform a ice massage on and around the area for 10 minutes at a time
over a sink.
4. Rub in circles the entire area, until its numb.
5. NO WORKING OUT for 7 days.

Your tendon is inflammed / swollen inside the sheath that is slides in and out from. You need to reduce the swelling first. Take some ibuprofen to help aid in reducing the swelling to. You need to do this procedure as many times of the day as possible. You need to remove yourself from weight training until your pain free. Then after your pain free, you need to STAY Away from the weights for 7 whole days.

My wife is a Physical Therapist and I had the same exact issue. I followed the above steps to the T.

Happy to say I have had no issues for ( get this ) 5 years...

Chris

Chris thank you very much. That is great advice, not at all what I wanted to hear but it is what I figured I needed to hear. Thank you again. One week isn't that long I guess.

Your very welcome, no in the scheme of things, no, if you take the time off now and heal. The ending result is your back before you know it. The other side of the coin is you injure it even more and it never heals at all.

Keep us posted bro.. This information is good for you and everyone else experiencing the same exact issue.

Chris

you can also so try the hot cold method... 20 minutes ice, 20 minutes cold and so on. this dialates and constricts the blood vessels. getting new blood in there to help repair whats damaged.

Chris and 42gunz thanks again for the advice. I took all of it. Spent a little over a week just recovering and reading the info on here. So far everything seems good with my elbow. I have only done legs and chest so far but arms are coming up and I feel confident that my arm will feel strong. Thanks again.
