Supplements you may need to tone down depending on the extent of the breaks. However i doubt it, protein intake is the most important tho so make sure you keep up with that. I broke my tibia and fibia at the same time and i was out for 6-7 months even before rehab, however i had surgery as well to set the bone back so that was the reason for the amount of time. My suggestion, stay off of it as best you can, take your rehab time to rest your lower body, work your upperbody, but just take as much time as the doc suggests to rest, coming back too soon will risk further injury, further increasing the amount of rehab time. I would say 2 months...but i'm no doctor, just an educated guess on my own experiences. |
