ok guys today at footy training my trainer finally realised ive been doing front squats instead of back squats after a month. I let him know back squats are hurtin my lower back and front ones aren't. he pointed out something interesting...
my hamstrings + quads + hip flexors are very tense. i showed him a back squat with no weight and had proper form...but he's saying my core muscles are not strengthened enough and because of the imbalance im putting strain on my lower back and from the strains, those muscles are getting very tensed. this is interesting because before even starting bbing with weights i did a year of core strength training. I had to end my session shortly and do stretches because he made me do it lol and said after every weight session now im going to have to do stretches...
anyway...a couple of hours later, after doing like 2 sets of 1 exercise...i hit the gym on my own time and trained legs lol i felt great and legs are dragging behind me when i walk so its all good...
what do u guys think about my trainers advice? i don't like the idea of discontinuing bbing at all
