ok so today was back day..and i was on my 3rd exercise..being seated rows to finish off the thickness part of my back workout...on my last set the first 6 reps were cool..but on the 7th i felt a pull in my left lower part of my back...i stopped after i felt the pull and decided to stretch over on the mats to see if that helped..it did a bit..but then hurt again.

and to make matters worse, i promised my sis to go bowling..so i had to throw around a ball while my lower back was in some pain..

i know its nothing drastic because i can bend and move pretty good..i just want to know what i can do to releive it a bit...im not too big on advil or tylenol..so if any other suggestions can be made..it would be awesome

i had a similar problem today but with bent over db rows...my lower left back gave way so i decided to call it a day...got home hotwater bottle on my lowerback and also some over here in england called deepheat...just a cream that u put on to releave muscular pain...either that or painkillers

Tigerbalm works the best if you can handle the smell. It's a bit pricey though, but well worth it.

You most likely strained a muslce or tendon and for those only time heals the wounds,, I use ibuprofen and have my local PT( physical therapist ) look at it,,,oh she happens to be my wife too,, nice huh,,

yeah she's awesome/ incrediable/ wonderfull..well you get the idea.. I get a pain or injury and she gets out her books and finds a way to fix it.. Saves my health care costs alot.. well not that I'm injury pron. but you get the idea..
