While deadlifting I may have lost concentration , spaced or something and hit a stick point on the way up. When I gave a bit more, already straining a little, there was a pop or pull. I know it did not feel good. I finished the set and went on for another set.
Long story short. Pulled the muscle on my left side and right below the base of my skull. It is causing major headaches to my temple. Went to the ER and got anti-inflamatory pills and muscle relaxers. None of which did anything to stop the headaches.
Feeling better almost a week later but docs told me to hold out for one more before returning to training.
