Anyone ever suffer from iliotibial band syndrome???? I been fighting it for a year. Now pain is so bad I cant train legs. Been to the doc and got a cortizone injection but pain still lingering. No cardio sucks too. Anyone ever had this and how long did it take to heal???? Also could glucosamine help to recovery process??

IT bands are a bitch man, playing high school ball and a little bit at my hometown college did absolutely nothing good for mine. A quick exercise I did for strengthening was turning my feet inwards and doing very light leg presses. Also, try the IT band strectch, I am too lazy right at this moment but it helped me ALOT.

Also, for any type of connective tissue such as ligaments, and tendons Glucosamine is highly ineffective. Check out Cissus RX by USP Labs in our board sponsor section, I, as well as many, many others reccomend this product highly.

Sit on the ground with your leg out in front of you. Flex your leg, sort of like you would do if you were at the very top of a leg extention, but without touching your leg basically try to push the underside of your knee towards the ground.

10 reps, hold for 3 seconds. Do this Twice

Now lean back, pull your toes back towards your face and point them outward slightly. Lift your leg about 6 inches off the ground and hold for a 3 second count.

10 reps, Do this twice as well.

After you are done with all of this manually(GENTLY) push your kneecap down towards your feet, hold for 10 seconds. Pull it up towards you, 10 second hold, push it inwards towards your other leg, 10 second hold.

Repeat this 5 times.

Do IT band stretching seated and standing.

Try this once daily for a week or so, raise it to twice. LMK how you are doing.-

MM
