Yesterday I was working out my back. Only supplement I had taken was 2 kre alkalyn pills. I zipped through my workout reall good. I got to deadlifts and went from 186lbs for 10 to 226lbs for 8 and then to 246lbs. I planned on doing about 6 reps but as I was doing them I felt good enough to hit another 1 possibly 2. Well, On the way down from #7 my lower back popped and I immediately dropped myself down to the floor, unhooked my wrist straps and laid there for about 5 minutes hoping that when I got up I was not hurting. I wasnt but this morning I do feel a little pain my my lower back. About where the waist band on my short come up to.
I immediately took 1g of Vita C and 3g of Glucosamine just to help that along. I am figuring that if this pain persists, which is probably will, I will probably go to an urgent care clinic next weekend to get an xray taken to see whats up.
Last time something like this happened I had lifted 320lbs and my left shoulder ached. I ended up seeing a chiropractor for 20 sessions and it really worked for me. I shelled out $750 during that time.
I will probably have to wear a lifting belt now and tighten it up reall good to continue my workouts, SUCKS!!
