Geeze, where to start? My knees crack/pop sometimes, lower back pops, neck pops, shoulders, elbows, ankles and even hips now. It doesn't hurt and I'm sick of hearing "if it doesn't hurt then don't worry." These problems never came around until I took two months off between March and April. Any ideas what this is?

My lower back hurts a little when I am relaxed and laying down. My shoulders grind also when they are relaxed and sometimes they crack every time I make a certain motion. Any ideas what this is? I hear about crepitus but there has to be a way to get rid of it. Some people say to control crepitus to take 2 months off and it will go away and obviously that isn't the case for me. I started doing internal and external rotation exercises for my shoulders and they are getting a little better but still act up quite a bit some days.

EDIT: I've also heard stuff that this happens when your younger because your body is still growing. (?) .... whats funny is i weighed nearly 300ibs 7 months ago, lost 60 and now I feel like hell. go figure...

EDIT #2: Just read stuff about muscle imbalances and this sounds pretty legit for my situation. When I took time off all that extra time was spent watching TV or being on the computer. Supposidly sitting for extended periods of time consistantly can cause for hip flexor imbalances and when I sit on my computer my posture isn't exactly good so...

When joint pain occurs do not cease your workouts adjust them. Temporarily decrease your range of motion. Surrender to your pain and adjust your activity accordingly(decrease amount of weight). Also try some Glucosamine and Chondroitin to repair and protect your joints. Hyaluronic Acid can improve joint nutrient absorbtion and lubrication. There are a number of products on the market which combine all three of these ingredients.

Take care bro

My shoulders crack and pop much like yours, but it doesnt hurt either, my knees do also, i find that it gets better for me if i do a thorough warm up before any shoudler related workout... i find that bench presses flare it up and so to shoulder presses, but warming up properly seems to fix it.
