after chest day usually or shoulder day, my left shoulder will be sore and hurt, after a few days it goes away but will come back again on chest or shoulder day. I try to ignore it because i dont want to go to the doc and have them say they wanna do some procedure on it, It hurts worse sometimes than others but I live through it, What could it be?

it could be your rotator cuff - it's quite a common injury to have. I've had my rotator cuff strained 2 or 3 times, each time i end up taking at least a week off weights and when i get back it's better. You're probably not keen on having time off and it seems like you're not keen on getting professional help either. This attitude will only ensure your problem gettin worse. My advice to you is to take a week off, and if it's not any better then go see physio

add some internal and external rotator excercises at the end of your routine, that'll help bring them up.

go to a physiotherapist, not a doctor. If you do go to a doctor DON'T get a cortisone injection, ever. It feels like heaven for two weeks, then you're fucked - weaker, more damaged, problem briefly hidden rather than solved.

I also have a sore left shoulder, i think i damaged it while doing some intense arm wrestling, and then i went to bench heavy even though my shoulder was hurting. I had taken some time off, and i was on pain killers, which didnt really help. I stopped lifting for 2 weeks, and it was abit better, i just didnt do any heavy benching or shoulder exersises. Its been about 8 months since that and i still sometimes feel the pain come back for short peroids of time. I think doing those rotating exercises is a good idea, after and also as a warm up with very low weight, like 5 pound dumbbells.

I had my right shoulder rebuilt 2 years ago (rotator cuff, cartilage, lots of scar tissue) and ended up hurting my left while in rehab. Like the others have said, rest it and see how it is and definatly think about adding internal and external shoulder rotations to strengthen it up.

Use bungee cord excercizes for the rotator cuff, i do it helps 90% of the time.

My rotator cuff pops out, literally, not a strain but just gets real bulgy

If you are hitting the biceps really heavy, and you have some flexibility issues in your upper body the shoulder pain could actually be caused by inflamation in the long head of the bicep. It connects underneath the deltoids and feels a bit like a rotator cuff. It is easy to inflame and is not painful enough to stop training but it still hurts like a bitch. Just try to do more flexibility excercises and split up days with upper pull and push excercises so you don't have to bench on a sore shoulder caused by inflamation in the bicep.
