Unfortunatly, NO, it does not work like that. One gram of protein or Carbohydrate is equal to 4 calories, one gram of fat is equal to 9 calories. So, you have a lot of excess energy stored, that you need to burn off. The good news is the more muscle mass you have the more calories your body will burn. You need to weight train and do cardio.
Also, take your body weight (lbs) and divide by 2.2, this will convert your weight into Kilograms, then multiply by 24 (hours). This is your bodies BMR, how many calories your body need each day without gaining or lossing weight. Each pound of fat is equal to 3,500 calories, so with limiting your diet and exercise you can loose weight. 2 lbs (7,000 cal.) a week is optimal. Takes time... Eat clean.. |
