When is the best time to eat oatmeal?? i usually eat it after my cardio..is that right or is there a more effecient method?

Anytime of the day except immediatly PWO or around bed time, its a great complex carb source

yea ive heard oatmeal great for energy and as an overall carb
im 170 lbs
im supposed to eat a minimum of 340 carbs a day
does any1 know what foods and how many times i should eat during the day
??
i wanna get up to 200lbs as soon as possible
any tips guys

30lbs is a heap of weight dont expect to gain it quickly you should be eating 6-8 times a day with all your meals being reasonably equal in size.
Check out the bulking primer in the nutrition section its a great resource and should help you on your way to your goals

i eat oatmeal all day i sneak it in as a snack in between meals. i always have it for breakfast maybe 2 hours before workout and sometimes to sneak in another meal depending on what time of day i workout ill have some post workout.

oatmeal is the best, cleanest source of energy you can get in my opinion... i eat it every day at breakfast, but if i could id eat it all day just hard when im on campus all day so i gotta stick to whole grain bread... whole wheat pasta is great too
