Hi Guys i need some advice. Right ive been away from the gym for quite a while and have only started going back. However what ive noticed is that ive become extremely week. I lack both strength and edurance. I cant lift alot and what ever i do manage to lift i cant get through the full 10 reps.. To give you an indication how weak i have gone im doing shoulder presses on a smith machine on empty bars that weak.. To be honest ive never been super duper strong but i could shoulder press at least 60kg. So i need a strength and endurace rehab programme to get back upto speed. I know alot people will say to get strong i will have to lift heavy but i dont want to go hardcore right now and end up injuring myself but i dont want spend too many weeks lifting light weights either and reaping no benefit .Hence i need your advice guys...

try to eat more carbs to supercharge your work outs, and dont lift real heavy weights, just lift and you will gain your strength back. try diffrent excersies that you havnt done b4, to hit your muscles from diffrent angles and make them stronger. i was sick for 2 weeks and when i stepped back in the gym i was so depressed cuz i couldn't lift what i did b4 getting sick. be patient eat protein carbs and work hard. i think its the only way.

You need to stay with it! I know it will be hard right now and will make you want to quit in the future. Everyone goes through these flukes, only thing I can tell you to do is eat more. You will notice a huge difference when you alter the amount you eat and what you eat. On that note, how's your diet?
