Genetics are probably there in some form my friend and I both train like animals and eat properly and I lift almost double him but since he is shorter than me and has better genetics, his arms are bigger than mine too. form is key too, you might be moving more weight but if your not doing it right and using your back and swaying a bit you are not working the muscle properly and breaking it down. And agreed, you need to eat more, food is key in bbing. Make sure you get at least 8 hours of sleep a night! Good luck and try again.

Cosign, You also could be overtraining. Eat, form, sleep is very important like THG said. Sleep is very unrealized I guess is the word. Sleep is when your body recovers- if you don't get enough recovery time, gains could possibly take longer. Just keep going and switch up your routine some.

I have found I use less weight but have proportionally large muscle mass. It maybe genetic but also I drink milk throughout the day and have 80g of protein this way. I sleep for 8 hours a night too. I never weight train when a muscle group is sore.

So maybe this might work for others.
1. Drip feed protein by having milk or other protein source once an hour, for me its milk in coffee.
2. Rest muscle groups enough and in some ways missing a training day might be better than missing a rest day.
3. Get a good nights sleep. 8 hours seams to be the ideal.

Vitamin C seams to help recovery and so does creatine. I use 1g vit c tablets most days.

Personally I dont think its good to have vitamin
suppliments 7 days a week after reading a few research papers on it. So I tend to suppliment only on training days or if I feel unwell.

If you over train your arms, there going to get smaller not bigger.

Try to avoid trying your biceps a lot, don't not train them hard, but rather train your arms very smart.

Vitamin C is know to boost the immune system, not sure about muscle recovery. You might think it does psychologically. If it really does, continue. Eat a lot, sleep a lot.
