My names kevin. I turned 16 in august.I have been training for about 3 years now.I have 16 inch arms, maybe a little more now.I'm a competative powerlifter. I have two state titles and one national title. I have 5 state records(2 in the bench press) as well as the national and world bench press record for my age and weight. My stats right now are roughly a 400+ bench press, and a 500+ deadlift and squat max. I am training right now for APFNJ high school state powerlifting championships january 13th. My team and I also are planning on competing in the Arnold Classic Powerlifting championships. We have the IPA high school nationals in the end of March. So my schedules pretty full. On top of that I'm training for my first bodybuilding show in august. My training partner and I decided we would give this a shot being that we have pretty decent physiques for our ages. I currently only use whey protein. I just finished up glutamine and size on. When I get my xmas money i plan on investing in the BSN mass stack(my training partner has used that with much success) and if I get good feedback i plan on using fizogen's 17-bol and m1-bol. My training regime goes like this :
Monday: Chest(heavy incline presses);upper abs
Tuesday:legs(quads,hamstrings,calves,glutes);lower abs
Wednesday:Back(heavy lat work)
Thursday:shoulders(middle and rear);traps;abs
Friday:Arms(biceps,triceps,forearms)
Saturday: Chest(isolation),Back(heavy rows)
Sunday:off
I follow a doggcrapp style training. For example:
Monday I'll do heavy incline smith machine bench presses. 2 weeks ago my last set was 225 for 12 with a rest pause in my set. My sets working up to that were :135x20;185x15 warm ups. My first working set was 205 for 15 with a rest pause(did 11 reps and took a 15 breath break and did 4 more). I only did two working sets.
This week my last set was 245 for 12 with 2 rest pauses. I DO NOT want to loose smith machine incline bench press, so I have to beat it in weights or reps weekly(if you don't understand what I'm talking about research doggcrapp style training)
I'll do only two excercises for each bodypart..but the intensitys insane. Forced reps, drop sets and rest pauses are a must in every exercise. I have noticed oustanding growth with this.
My diet is..umm shaky.lol. I give in a lot to temptation being that I have a lot of doubt in myself. I have a spare tire(mostly love handles as you can see my upper abs. my lower abs..are..well flab)I do try to eat as clean as I can..I probably cheat once a day...lol.I haven't gained any fat...but I haven't really lost any either.
You may notice I never train front delts. Thats because my front delts are so out of proportion with the rest of my body that they make my biceps look small. So I never train them, they grow enough just from the stimulation they undergo from benching, cheating on my last few reps of barbell curls, ect.
Cardio..f*ck I hate it. I maybe do 40mins-60 mins a week. I hate it,it is so boring and I have absoltley no inspiration to do it.
The bodyparts I need to improve for this show are my upper pecs, lat width, side delts, abs, and the inner head of my bicep. I also need to get lean...lol.
I joined this site because I feel I can use you all as brothers and sister for my journey to come. To me we are all family and I am going to need encouragement and advice as I take my first steps into bodybuilding. I want to use this site as a journal to express my thoughts, search for answer to questions I have, to make improvements, and to talk about my stress among other things. I greatly appreciate your help and for listening and all. I will be writing in here a lot I assume. Please please please feel free to give me any and all advice you can on anything.
