Flex Wheeler, who was arguably the most aesthetically pleasing BB of all-time, was probably a hard-gainer before he got on the juice. His small joints, tiny ribcage, and other such things are clues to indicate his naturally ectomorph bodytype. However, the fullness of his muscle bellies and genetic proportions are what made him look so great, especially on such a small frame. Also, I'm willing to bet Darrem Charles was the same.

'hardgainer' is a relative term, relative to their competition those athletes werehardgainers, but not compared with the average person, and the juice can only do so much! actually when flex was a young guy ppl use to joke that he grew just by looking at steriods cos he used very little in the early days pro bodybuilders have a much higher ability to grow that the average guy.

bodybuilding is all about self improvement yo

depends on who ur comparing urself too that defines what a hard gainer is.
*what if he is doing alot more things right than u are?
*training experience, and current training regimine
*diet & suplimentation
*are u a total (full body) hardgainer or do u just have a few lagging body parts?

then maybe u look like the gifted one in the eyes of the young fella in the corner doing seated isolation d/bell bicep curls?
