On what type of bench should a military babrbell press be performed? Sounds ridiculous but am having trouble performing correctly. Any info helps, thanks.

Your gym should have a mil press rack. Or a hammer meachine. If not use DB'S and try to get a set that has a back.

Personally I would use the smith machine ...helps keep the bar inline ...just pull a seat up to that and you are good to go

dont go to heavy if you not doing it right... i just stand up and do it, i always seem to hit the damn rack when i do it.

If you want a challenge, try to use dumbells while kneeling on an exercise ball
