It depends on your diet and training, just like you said. Until you post that up, it's anyones guess as to if you really are a hardgainer or not.

I consider a hardgainer someone who is looking for an excuss to why they arent succeeding and instead of uping weights, improving diet and learning/ trying new things they label themselves a hardgainer and then dont try as hard because they've already given up. I am by NO means calling you this but trying to stop you from falling into this trap everyone is capable of putting on size it's just a case of trial and error until you find what works for you.

Good luck!

When it comes to gaining weight you can't just eat a bunch of protein. You need a well balanced diet including carbs and fats. It takes a lot of effort and time to put weight on... I got frustrated when I was starting out, but once you get into a routine that works for you the results will come. Just stay at it, when you are too lazy to cook a meal or don't really feel hungry, you need to force yourself to eat. And let that same discipliine carry over into the gym.

Post your diet and routine and we will give you advice. It would help to make a journal for a few days and take the average so you know what you are taking in and then you can adjust from there, probably increase around 20% more calories.
