Hi, thanks for viewing my topic, i am 15 years old. I have been having this problem for a while now, my biceps and triceps feel weak, i was working out today at my friends gym (first workout) and i was struggling to work out with 2kg (dumbbell), sounds stupid but i really think i have a problem, my muscles just give in after about 4 - 5 reps if im lucky.

well how long have you been working out? and second it all depends on if this weight your lifting is heavy for you, if its is just lower the weight until your muscles become stronger,

For starters, use weights you can manage to lift for at least 10 reps. Start there and work your way up..

Well that's because it;s barley your first workout everyone goes threw this on there first workout, just keep lifting till your body adjust to the weights , and every week you should see and increase on the weight your pushing. Good luck!

Are you active in any way other than weight-lifting? If not, then feeling "weak" is perfectly understandable. Though most of weight-lifting is centered around the muscle being worked, a lot of it also involves the specific tendon associated with the muscle(s) you're targeting.

Don't feel discouraged; gradually expose your muscles to weightlifting to avoid any injuries. The first few weeks (~6) are critical, as these are the weeks where the body does what it needs to do to adapt to the load you're putting on it.
