I am currently attempting a protein diet, which i will admit is failing, i am only capable of having 4 meals a day and many of them do not contian protein, i am at school doing my A-levels and cannot get a full-time job, i hope to rely on my mum for financial support and to supply me with the foods i need for the diet required but whenver i bring it up she sais no and that she wont buy me anything, i just dont get why she wont give me support for something which i am passionate for and want to succeed at. Anyone in this same situation and if so can you give me any advice.

Get some sort of part time job for a week or two, use all that money for food for a few months.

There are parents who are like that bro but don't give up bro and keep fighting try to get a job like Thomas said maybe part-time or cutting yards something that can get you that money to at least buy yourself food and keep going. ''Set small goals and build upon them.'' You said it!

My main goal is to primarily lose weight, and then when i am at a suitable weight i will then gain mass. Also i am not very independent and have to go to school for 7 hours a day, i never have time to go shpping for food and i NEVER have money. And my mum has kind of been giving me support, not masses of support but she will buy me chicken and rice etc. the only thing she doesnt like is when i waste the egg yolks for my drink, yeah i have a part-time job but i get £200 max a month and i spend it all on alcohol and very expenisve clothes! my money management is appauling.

Well that's your problem , If you really wanna loose weight and are serious about this you need to get rid of the alcohol period! I'm not trying to tell you what to spend your money on but you maybe need to limit your self on all that expensive clothes. The money that you make buy food and since you wanna loose weight you won't spend as much as if you were trying to gain muscle mass (eating more). You also said your mom buys you chicken and rice that a start chicken is pretty expensive so just worry about buying other food that your mom doesn't help you on.

well i cant cut down on the drinking but its not as though im having 12 cans of cider on a saturday night, i only drink spirits, and i will try not to spend anymore money on clothes, and i'm not tryin to boast but money isnt any problem with my mum and dad, i think i will just need to focus on losing weight and then start the diet to gain mass
