So i'm in Mooresville NC.
Tomorrow is my tour of the campus and working out the finances of the school, so we got here a little early and crashed for the night.
I tried to do some running but didn't get far before i couldn't breathe, i'm going to say it's the altitude change from Florida to North Carolina.
Got at least 100 pushups and sit ups in so i'm staying semi-active

Nice. How's the scenery out there?

That's good your attempting to exercise a little out there. I believe putting your body under stress like that at a higher altitude will benefit your training, endurance and stamina greatly once you get back home.

The scenery is great, lots of hills and valleys.

Yeah training at altitude will get your body used to performing with the lower oxygen levels so when i go back to Florida where the O2 is abundant my body will be more efficient with the Oxygen, but over time it'll just go back to the same thing.

I'm glad I'm moving here, they complain of highs in the 90's, in Florida we complain of high is in the 110's. 65 degrees at 730 in the morning, the dew is covering the ground, it's heaven!

Home sweet home.


Got in about 330 AM my time last night.
Slept till about 12 first priority was the gym, and man it felt good to be back!

Started with Bench Killed it!
New Max of 175, not happy but content with the progress.
Moved to Dumbbell press, Killed it as well, Finally got the 75's

Then we moved to shrugs, got new max of 315

Next was triceps Over head dumbbell curls, got new max of 90
After that was back did rows and lat pull down.
Rows was 95.
Lat pull down was 165.


Today was out to kill my upper body, which probably isn't the smartest after taking 6 days off but i knew that break was going to be good for me and it was everything jumped up.

I think i saw a guy in the gym i go to from here, so i'm going to see if i can find him on here. he looked real familiar.

You know why you had all those personal records today? Cuz of the off days, drop the intensity a notch since you don't have much fuel or ability to repair damage done to the muscles because of the cut diet.

I'm always looking for people from here at my gym hahah no such luck though.

Try seperating back from chest day bro, you'll see a huge difference. I'd do it soon though so your back catches up with your chest. You can't effectively hit back after chest, both are large bodyparts. Arnold could only do it becuase of the DBOL.

yeah, i hear ya. I'm being sure i'm getting more rest time in between workouts to be sure i recover.
My back and Shoulder days aren't complete so i'm working on getting those in line.

Took the last 2 days off, hitting the gym early tomorrow.

I haven't fallen off the earth, and certainly haven't quit moving weight.
I've been crazy busy lately with school starting and many other things.
This was the week to get **** straight, and today went well.
I'll elaborate tomorrow, for now it's some shut eye.

Today went well did legs back and ran. My shoulder was bothering me a little, so i kept it to where it wasn't hurting which hindered a little, but not too much.
Uploaded a picture from right after today's workout, i'm not too sure whether i'm losing chest or gaining it. So maybe you guys can compare and let me know.
I'm having BF tested soon.

Dude you look good - making steady progress. Grats on that! I know all about the stress headaches - best thing for them is an intense workout - releases dopamine and a bunch of other good **** to change your brain chemistry! try it if you ever have a headache. And don't stress too much - you're in a great place in your life, bro - enjoy it!

Cosign mperk^^ Nothing makes my stress levels drop better than a good workout. It helps me more than anything else. I dont think I could maintain right now if it wasnt for my weights. I NEED them, its like therapy for me. I have been through the wringer too bro. I havent found anything better for my overall mood, than lifting. I know its hard to find the time sometimes but when you do, its well worth the effort. And look at the progress you have made, AMAZING buddy. You inspire me bro, for real!

sorry for not posting again, guys. **** hit the fan the other night with me and my girl, but i'm on the up hill climb of that. It's going to free up a lot of time, and cut my stress in half, so I'll be hitting the gym tomorrow and will let you know how it goes.

Today was Chest and Shoulders.
Flat Bench DB
Cable Flys
3 sets up push ups, one set with 10 lb.
weighted pull ups. all the way to 45.
Then hit the bag for 20-30 minutes.

Awsome dude! looks like a great workout. bet the bag felt good! make sure you get some wide grip pullup in there - most excellent for developing the V taper!

Hey man - everyone suks at WGpull ups when they start! do sets of 2 or 3 or 4 -whatever you can do with good form. When you burn out on that, put a bench or stool under your feet for a little boost. Do those 1-2 x a week and you will see a HUGE difference in 6 months!

I can do 3 at my own body weight, when i burn out at that, after about 3 sets i go to using the negative weight machine.

That's a great place to be - I bet you can get that up to 5 a set in no time - then do 4-6 sets 2 x a week. Rest between sets 1 min + as you need, but IMO the neg weight machine changes everything and you won't make the same progress. IMO it will hold you back.
