At 14, you want to concentrate at eating well..eat lots of protein with good fats and Carbohydrates are a must! More importantly though.. DO NOT get fixated on bodybuilding... you are still growing, doing loadsa weights will only stunt your growth, and you only grow upwards once! Concentrate more on keeping fit and healthy, doing the occasional bit of weights work in the gym and eat well!
Eating and keeping fit will improve your strenth i promise you! But fixating yourself at this point in your life to a sport that will not take you very far in the next few years.. you will gain more weight AND muscle simply naturally.. may alienate you from others and doing other stuff that guys growing up are meant to do! Please trust me on this one!

Admittidly H&B Body Fortress Whey is not the best.. it is cheap (im guessin you dont have vast amounts of cash at 14!! I certainly didnt!) though and simple! Very good starting point to just get used to taking shakes and they will work!
By the way, please do not think i am speaking down to you in any way, shape or form.. i completly respect your admiration for BB and desire to get into it.. i just thing you might waste and awful lot of money and more importantly precious time (school is seriously awesome and growing up is only done once!!) by getting really involved.. Again, like i said before.. im just trying to help! You dont need to listen to my advice! |
Im gonna have to dis-agree with some of the stuff your saying here.
1. Lifting doesnt stunt growth, I posted about this a while back and will re-post it tomorrow when I have enough energy to find it.
2. Holland and barret would be fine for fish oils, multi vit but not whey or creatine. Its pretty expensive there if you look at the amount your getting (protein and servings), and tastes horrible. You can find stuff much cheaper online. (unless thats an issue)
