one more suggestion, start doing push-ups, it will strengthen your entire core, and you will get those Tris nice and strong, vary the push-up from different arm positions, and elevate on a dumbbell or book so one side is higher than the other, it will differently help your weak side and build over all muscle strength, it`s a underrated exercises but see how many you can do in 4 sets, doing clean controlled push-ups, i promise you incorporate them into your workouts and you will notice a difference, it takes time but it will help.. you look great for your age and yea the supplements help, stay motivated even if your goal isn't hit on the date you set.. just push ahead until you do make it, i`m 40 and i never took a pro-hormone or steroid until just this month, and i took 15 years to go from a 14inch bicep to a pumped 18inch, but the work is worth it. just make it happen. good luck bro

I don't know how to really explain it with the squats, I just go as deep as I can somewhere between parallel and ass to the grass. Yeah I think I'm just gonna try to stick to strength goals, I wanna get stronger and so far I've been hitting my goals pretty well.

Thanks for the suggestion man, I've tried doing push ups before on chest day after everything else and they weren't bad, but I didn't stick to them long enough. Should I do push ups on shoulders and triceps day or chest day?

i do them at the end of chest day, also 4 sets and your fried, do them at least 2 times a week, doesnt really matter what work out you do on that day, if its back day or arm and tris, just stick to them and do them regular like i said 4 sets to failure, some good articles on google on the benifits of push-ups, let me know after about 3 weeks of steady workouts and keep track of how may you start with and where your at at the end of the 3rd week, oh you will get a excellent pump, try and feel every muscle you use to control your movement up and down .. good luck and pm me anytime..

God damn it, I just finished my chest workout and forgot pushups. Shit. I'll remember them next time for sure, ah I really wanna just do a few sets with my protein shake in hand haha damn.

Haven't updated this in a while so I'll have two days today. I've been slacking just a bit on lifting and diet for the last 5 days of summer, but as soon as school starts man, nothing, but sleeping, eating and of course lifting.

Training

Flat dumbbell press
80lbs-5
70lbs-9
75lbs-7

Incline dumbbell press
60lbs-9 PB (reps)
65lbs-7 PB (reps)
70lbs-3 PB (weight)

Flat flies
35lbs-9
40lbs-5,4 PB

Barbell shrugs
235lbs-10
240lbs-7,7
245lbs-8 PB

No nutrition today. I'm not gaining on the flat shit as fast as I'd like to, but I think it's cuz the stabilizing muscles I'll start flat benching with a real barbell instead of this smith machine at school tomorrow.

This school's dumbbells only go up to 75lbs though :(, they used to have 100s, but they thouht kids would get hurt damn it. No dumbbell presses for me.

I'm looking forward to it though I hope I'll have some people watching me.

Big news guys, I'm starting a New York powerlifting comp soon. And I looked at last years champs and I'm outlifting all these guys. The squats are 300 though so I gotta improve that, but the bench from last year was like 170, and the deadlift was 300 so I got the local meet pretty easy I think.

I go to state after that! Can't wait, I gotta drop 7lbs by October 4th to be in a lower weight class though and have an advantage.

Thanks Mike, I'll defiantly keep you guys posted.

I'm making my nutrition log for the day still and am doing legs later, the last workout without squats.

As soon as I have a gym (later this week) I'll be doing a leg routine to build up my weak spot (quads) it'll be

Squats
Front squats
Leg press
SLDLs
Sprints

Thoughts? Oh and I need to bring my squat up almost 100lbs so any suggestions for gaining strength here is great.

how much time do you have to add 100 pounds to your squat? the only thing that comes to mind is to do drop sets and change it up, if your at a plateau in your strength you may need a change. drop sets will get you strong but they will also make you want to vomit and cry at the same time, especially doing squats.. thats just my opinion ,,100 pounds is allot of weight to gain in a lift, thats why i was wondering how much time you have to achieve your goal?? good luck my man
