5% was just an estimate, I really don't know. But it's not nearly as useful as technique, but it certainly is useful.
Hah, it's all good, just here to help ya.
Some nasty numbers you putting up there, keep it up. Improving fast as hell.
Good job on developing the horse shoe shape, it's not easy getting that. Luckily, it was pretty easy for me. I actually don't remember not having it. Haha. |
I think strength and technique are just one of those comparisions that can't be made side by side. They each have they're advantages. Just like in a fight if you're bigger and stronger it's easier to resist other people's moves and do yours with more force and power. You do need at least some technique or strength becomes useless, it's how you use what you know. IMO
Yeah some things come easy for me like biceps lats and leg definition come easy to me and others not so easy like triceps, chest, and abs.

Thanks Brent, great to see you back here! Goals really push me right now I'm most after the DB bench and deads.

Thanks Mike, it means a lot. I'm trying to stay dedicated while stay managing to keep up with my life. I'm doing a pretty good job of that recently with off days on the weekends and lifting with the wrestling team during the week at school. I can't wait till I'm older I really hope I can go far with this.
Thanks again Mike

I hate those days where I'm thinking "Oh no I'm gonna be tired day" That's why I bought N.O. Xplode so I can do it when ever I need to. Plus I can usually psyche myself up pretty well especially on deadlift day. 265's gonna be tough but if you keep at it you can, I added 100lbs in my first year of benching and 100 in the last 6 months to my deads! They go up fast if you are consistent.
And speaking of deads here we go----
Back Deadlifts
45lbs-15
135lbs-10
225lbs-10
330lbs-4
335lbs-2
340lbs-1
325lbs-3
Mmmm I love deads haahh
Chins
BW-15
+8lbs-5,4
Barbell rows
110lbs-10
125lbs-8
135lbs-7
140lbs-6
145lbs-5
GMs
95lbs- 9
100lbs-10
105lbs-10
I heard that good mornings hurt the spine and my lower back's been hurting today so I might do a different exercise for loweer back. What do you guys suggest for strength?
I cracked 340! Just need 350 by Thanksgiving like I've been saying for a while and I'm happy. 365 by Christmas is reasonable too. My barbells rows are increasing nicely, I remember at the end of August I was doing 105.
I love doing deads, the guy in my school's weight room told me he didn't want me going that heavy in there cuz I might get hurt. Sucks but cool at the same time, I told him I'll be doing 400 at the end of the year and he's like well not in there you're not haha. He's cool though.
PEace guys
