Should be fun I hear conditioning's a BITCH.
But I need better lungs anyway haha cardio'll do me some good, only problem is I'll be beat and won't be able to lift too well after so I'll have to think about it.
Also I guess they turn up the heat to like 85 degrees so yousweat and lose a lot of weight. **** that. I need that for the creatine and muscle size! I don't know I'm gonna think about it and debate the pros and cons. But for now Ima drink this N.O. Xplode and lift-

Hey, bro. Wrestling is a great sport and definitely one of the hardest sports ever. You're sacrificing a lot doing wrestling, though. Depends, really. I've lost some muscle already and it's only been about 3 weeks since preseason practices have started.
Technique is the most important part of wrestling. It'll always win over strength. Strength will come in handy when the two opponents are close to equal in technique. Speed, explosiveness, core strength, and a good center of gravity are also very crucial in wrestling.
Practices are everyday and you won't have much time to lift, if you'll even want to lift once practice is over, that is.
You might even have to go down to 145 if you still carry a decent amount of fat.
My PRE season practices go like this: (keep in mind this is no where near as hard as the real practices)
1-3 mile run for warm up
5-10 reps of uphill sprints (the distance gets farther after each rep)
10-15 reps of upstairs sprints
1-3 reps of 100 yard pole carries (carrying a partner on your shoulder, holding them as straight up as you can)
1-5 reps of 100 yard sprints (these are killer and harder than you think)
This was today's practice, it was fairly easy but sometimes they can be really hard. If you're unlucky, you'll do a lot of suicides. I almost collapsed on the first preseason practice from these.
If you do wrestling, I guarantee you'll be in the best shape of your life.
