Good or Bad idea..?

Ok. My diet goes like this... basically, I eat super strict during the weekdays; egg whites, whole wheat, orange juice, skim milk, lean meat...you know the clean ****, and I eat cheat meals throughout the weekend. So my question is this... would it be ok for me to have one cheat meal everyday and just stick to my diet threw the whole week? I have to admit it's hard to stay clean the whole week and when the weekend comes I really gorge myself... more than I need to.

So what do you guys think? Eat clean on the weekdays, cheat on the weekends or have only 1 cheat meal everyday and stay on the diet?

Goal: Get down to about 10-15% bodyfat. Right now I'm about 18-22%.

Cheat meal would be after training only, so I could fast on it threw the night.

I used to do exactly your weekend plan and it didn't go very well...I mean i lost a bit of weight but nothing serious. I personally believe that a weekend of cheating can destroy all of your gains from a clean week.

I also think that one cheat meal a day is too much as well. Think about the caloric bump it will be to your daily totals, it will most likely put you above your caloric limits for losing weight and you will be likely to gain weight.

As crappy as it sounds, one cheat meal a week is all you really need...and if you're really serious, make it one cheat meal every 2 weeks. How I stay sane with it, is to make that cheat meal really worth it and focus on taste rather than volume. Why would I waste my one cheat meal on Mc****s when I could have prosciutto and wine instead?

Of course, judging by your avatar, you're leaner and bigger than me anyways so take it as you will

lol... Umm... that avatar is about a year outdated. You know the simple stresses in life like breakups and things can really drive a man off course... and I'm off course... lol
I quess I'm looking for a simplier way to do things. I have one of those stupid metabolisms where if I eat I'll get more size but it takes me forever to get back down.

I need a damn cookbook for BB's to come up some tasty recipes!

Its best to keep cheat meals rare until you are lean, say sub 15% bf levels. After that, cheat meals definately have their place for leptin maintenance, etc. But, when you cheat, have high GI carbs, and very low fat, ex my cheat meal is pancakes or kraft dinner.

Kraft dinner or pancakes...? Damn lol. I guess I am trying to find an easy way out! My example is pizza umm...pizza...umm...chick fil a...umm sorry... I'm dreaming again!.lol

Mindstar good idea. I would like to see some lowfat tasty recipes.

I woudl stay strcit with it until u get to the BF u want, if u msut have a cheat meal have it for breakfast, and dont eat for 3 hours afterward then eat healthy from their on out for the rest of the day.

Thanks BigBen. :) I do believe I have to stict to my diet like I normally would. I will promise myself this.... Once I get into shape again.. I will Not let myself stray away!!

You want to keep it high carb, low fat, pizza isnt a great choice.

so what meals makes you loose weight? say if i eat 7 meals a day or 6 do i eat low quanity on those foods?

No problem bro. nothing worng with a cheat meal, just have it early in the day so you can work it off by the end u know.

keep clean till youre bf is low enough. than you can cheat once a week, and dont go over the top
