I have both Flax seed oil and Fish oils. Currently I am just taking the fish, however I was wondering if taking both fish and flax would be ok or just over kill. Let me know what you guys think. thanks.

yea i've read this and I know the benefits of fish oil, but would it be more beneficial to take them with the flax seed oil as well or will that just be overkill?

Take them both and see what happens.? I have a GNC bottle of Omega 3, 6, and 9 tablets and I take it 2 times a day. I notice my hair being a little more glossy and skin more oily and my joints don't feel as stiff. I say try it and see how you feel. Both have cardiovascular benefits to them so I don't think it will hurt?

Flax seed is far better for the heart than fish oils. If u choose between the 2 choose the flax seed it helps clean out the arteries more than fish oils.

i would do one or the other 2 times a day or mabye one in the morning and the other at night bc keep in mind it i fat. Healthy fat but fat none the less. I would really stick woth flax seed tho but thats just my opinion.

Flax seed oil is not better for heart health than fish oil. Futhermore flax seed oil or for that matter fish oil will not *clean* out the arteries. We don't know how much Flax seed oil one would have to take to help in lowering tryglycerides, with fish oil, 1grams seems to provide results for many who take it. Also flax seed oil is very fragil, meaning it starts to lose its potency the moment its processed from seeds. And it will lose potency even in the refrigerator, it will however keep up to 1 year in the freezer. When flax seed oil goes bad it has a paint thinner kind of smell to it. Both ozygen and light and heat will destroy it, one should never heat it up or cook with it.
Fish oil DHA, and EPA are omega three fatty acids and the body can't make them they need to be taking in by eating. Flax seed oil has ALA, alpha lenolenic acid, which is a omega three fatty acid. One wants to take it both omega 3 and omega 6's since only by eating them will the body have them.Plus with flax seed oil the body will convert that to some omega three but how much is not clearly know but the body doesn't do this easily or produce much of omega three, thats a good reason to go with the fish oil.
Take 1 gram of fish oil or untill you see the skin becoming velvety and you can see a layer of shinnyness to your face.
