my buddy had one...the problem with them is that if the protein is one that is really thick and hard to mix then it still dosent mix that well. what will happen is that it will clup together on the little shaft that spins inside. but it dose help a little. i would rather use a blender to mix it. on the other hand dont waste ur money if ur protein can mix well enough. btw. if u dont already know, it uses batteries and i think its 2 AA batteries.

If your protein clumps in a shaker cup, be sure to add the liquid first, then protein powder. Adding more liquid also helps (if it says 8 ounces, try 12-16). Hope this helps

If you want a powered mixer, one with a motor....Go to walmart...they should have one. least thats where i bought mine...There isn't anything that thing won't mix. They also have on at gnc that says itll crush ice. I think it is pretty good as well

I got one and within 2 weeks the lid had cracked in two places and then all of a sudden it stopped working. I was fed up with its problems, so I trashed it and went back to good old elbow grease and a shaker.

use a hand blender....its is small and portable and all you need is an outlet at the gym to plug it in after your workouts
