I usually take glucose or dextrose with protein for PWO but sometimes I run out and eat some fruit, say a banana instead. The thing is that sometimes I run out of fruit too so I end up using either raw sugar or white sugar... Which of the two are better? Should I even bother??

stick with glucose ( plain ) or dextrose .. the reason that they are digestion fast and bring out the glycogen as soon as possible to the damage muscle .. the other type of sugers ( sucrose and fructose ) are digestion slower than the previous one .. and it recovers the liver glycogen more than the muscl glycogen :)

true that after a workout your muscle need nutrients ASAP. and water is disgested quicker than solid foods
