what aminos? I wouldnt bother if you cant train...

also, before you go, i would go absolutely nuts in the gym the two weeks before, i mean training each body part 2-3 times a week with loads of volume, that way when you go on vacation your body will supercompensate and you will still make some gains.

na, I wouldnt even reccomend taking those in the first place. Just did a quick search and the amino acid profile is pretty bad. Also a good rule of thumb for anything, most tablet products are pretty bad compared to powders. The powders are cheaper and much higher quality.

If you are looking to take some amino acid powders, your best bet is Xtreme formulations ICE, that has the best profile out of the ones ive seen. i also reccomend MRM BCAA, and Universal BCAA stack.

If you are concerned with saving money then why dont you listen to me about tablets? I also searched SAN BCAA-PRO and they are tablets as well. Regardless if you arent training then dont bother taking them.

the only good thing about tablets is that they are stricly amino's, with protein powder sometimes theres other junk in them, and sometimes your body doesnt absorb all the appropriate aminos

Im very familiar with this, when aminos are isolated they are more readily absorbed as the body does not have to break down the peptide bonds that normally bond amino acids together to form proteins, however once again the profile of these tablets is more costly and inadequate to powders.

Amino acids are the building blocks of protein. Bodybuilding.com's Amino Acids supplement is an effective and useful blend of essential amino acids for the human body.

Amino acids are essential to the human body. Bodybuilders can especially benefit from supplementing amino acids because they aid in repair, growth, and development of muscle tissue. The body, through assimilation of amino acids, produces over 50,000 proteins and over 15,000 enzymes. Amino acids are not only responsible for the production of all the body's enzymes (including digestive enzymes), but they also play a key role in normalizing moods, concentration, aggression, attention, sleep, and sex drive. After protein is consumed, it is broken down into amino acids. Then, individual amino acids are used to create necessary body proteins and enzymes. Digestive enzymes break down the proteins a person consumes into amino acids.

Protein intake of approx. 0.88 grams per pound of body weight resulted in increased prevention of overtraining. This proves that adequate protein consumption is the key to making gains! Be sure to get enough (approx. 1gram per lb. of body weight).

Among the most beneficial and effective supplements in any sports nutrition program are branched chain amino acids. These are the essential aminos leucine, isoleucine, and valine. You probably know that amino acids are the building blocks of protein. When you eat a protein food, it gets digested in the stomach and intestine into individual amino acids and short chains of amino acids that are small enough to be absorbed into the bloodstream. These amino acids have far reaching effects in the body from building and repairing tissues, to producing chemicals that enable our brains to function optimally.

Essential amino acids cannot be made by the body. You must get them from complete protein foods or combinations of incomplete vegetable foods. There are 9 essential amino acids: histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, tryptophan, and valine. Your body can make non-essential amino acids by itself from vitamins and other amino acids.

The term "non-essential" can be misleading since all amino acids are essential for proper metabolism and certain non-essential amino acids, such as glutamine, become very essential during illness or trauma. The 13 non-essential amino acids are alanine, arginine, aspartic acid, cysteine, cystine, glutamic acid, glutamine, glycine, hydroxyproline, proline, serine, & tyrosine.

The essential branched chain amino acids (BCAA's) are of special importance for athletes because they are metabolized in the muscle, rather than in the liver. Here's how this works: After digestion once protein is broken down into individual amino acids these aminos can either be used to build new proteins or be burned as fuel to produce energy.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If it was me I wouldnt take my aminos unless I eat a meal or consume a protein drink.

Don't bother. Theres a chance the protein will denature. Plus they're prob a lot more expensive. I reccomend using Glutamine and BCAA powder.

Thanks. I figured as much, after all the problems with creatine serum, plus how supp companies tell you to never leave a shake overnight, etc.
