I've noticed in these threads that alot of members take GNC Mega Mens's Vitamin. I have a nutrition book that rates the quality of this supplement as 21.1/100. In otherwords, it's ****e.
This is a genuine supplement review, based on lab test results, done by a doctor that rates vitamin supplements in categories such as Bioavailabilty, Potency, Lipotropic factors, Cardiac Health triad completness etc.

Here are some other popular ones;

Centrum Select= 4.6/100

One a Day Active= 5.1/100

In otherwords, if the cost is cheap, it is garbage.

If anyone wants a score on a certain brand just ask and I'll see if it is rated.

Isotonix Multitech Multivitamin is rated as 3.2/100. This is for both the Canadian and US product. It gives an actual lab analysis for the product, but unless we're doctors we wouldn't understand it.

vitamins dont do anything, waist of money IMO.

i never take them offseason, pre-contest i do though. as long as you eat a lot you odnt need them.

Wowser! I'm shocked to hear megaman scored so low. I've been taking them for about 2 months now and have another month or so's worth left...

Did the article happen to break down just WHY they were bad for you? Are the micronutrients in a ****ty form to digest or something? I mean--the nutrional breakdown looks good... whats the deal?

its just a multi vitamin. I don't know how much difference it can make.

I agree, but I like to know I'm getting value for my $. The thought of a company having a lab test rating of 2/100 and then taking peoples money doesn't sit well with me. I do feel a difference when taking a decent product vs. an inferior product. Just thought some people want to know. I've also seen lab reports of GNC powders and they do not fare well in terms of quality.
