Creatine works in a way in that it does not need to be cycled (IE, it doesnt shut down any of your bodies processes). However, you should up your intake every 6 weeks or so for a week to a loading phase as evidence shows your muscles become unsaturated. Also, after 1-2 months on creatine, your water balance is back to what it was before creatine. What this means is that you may lose a pound or two of water, but for the most part, any muscle gains will stay. The problem Ive found for most people when they go "off" of something, especially creatine, they dont continue to eat or lift as well as they were. If you just keep eating and lifting like you are, you should maintain your muscle. |
