I'm a big advocate of the traditional ECA stack. Its true the the FDA pulled ephedra based supplements such as ripped fuel and hydroxy cut off the market (primarily due to outside pressures rather then solid science IMO), however. Ephedrine HCL is still readily available from a number of sources and is more potent/clean feeling in my system when stacked with Caffine and Asprine then the old Ma Huang, White Willow Bark, Guarneara root crap ever was.
With the old school ephedra supplements I got nauseous, light headed, depressed and jittery. Also, what goes up must come down: one time I popped a couple ripped fuels before a wrestling match in high school and went out there more mean and aggressive then I'd ever been--caught the kid in a double leg and had him on his back struggling up in the first 30 seconds of the match--despite being extreemly well conditioned I just lost it, couldn't breath and my heart started going uncontrollably--I ended up loosing that match a total fish by major decision and looked like shit doing so too, stalling/struggling for air.
Long story short--I MUCH prefer stacking Ephedrine HCL and don't experience the same side effects nearly as much. What I do expereince is tremendously increased mental focus, curbing of carb cravings (getting ample nutrion does become a chore as I'm never very hungry on the stack), a lot more energy (albeit artificial) and increased agressivness. On the negative side I encounter hallitosis (my mouth always feels dry and I get that gross film on my tongue more than usual) and a bit of restlessness.
All in all though, I recommend this stack highly so long as its used in conjuction with proper cutting nutrion and hard work (I've got a dumbass male friend or two who use it instead of eating because of its strong ability to supress the appetite [won't take in more then ~1000 cals a day] and think what they're doing is a good idea... *shrug* everyone wants it fast, no one wants to work) |
