Howdy ya'll.
I'm in college and that pretty much takes most of my day. I get up at 6:45 and my school day is done by 16:45 (the exact time the bell rings for me the last time for that day). Now, I usualy go workout right afterwards, but....
I have lunch at like 14:00. That's three hours (give or take) before my workout. That doesn't make a hell of a pre workout meal does it? Now, I was thinking of having something like half a liter of milk with some ovaltine before the workout (this stuff comes dirty cheap for me and it's way better than chocolate powder or stuff like that). The milk gives me medium-digestion carbs and protein to keep me "safe" through the whole workout, not to mention it's supplying my muscles with protein just as they are being damaged. But this is a double edge, since I don't think it's the best idea to take down half a liter of milk and go do some squats 10 minutes later...
So, on scenario A, I'm not in danger of screwing up the gym floor and going home earlier, but I'm working out almost on an empty stomach; on scenario B I'm nutrient filled, but I might always give a nice effect to my squats (imagine a guy squatted down as a jet of puke is shot right out of his mouth

).
So, should I give scenario B a try? Maybe waiting a few minutes before working out?
