alright now i feel a lil confused and scared at the same time cuz i dont wanna loose wut i worked my ass so hard for....first i wanna no for cutting some guy told me that u need 10g of carbs per kilo and 1.7g of protein per kilo daily...imean is that true but isnt that when am cutting my diet should b high protein modrate carbs low fat...i mean the guy knows alot of **** and i trust him and he told me these according 2 scince....so i wanna no how many grams of carbs per pound and how many grams of protein per pound does lets say a person need when CUTTING and BULKING...now from wut i no is that u need at least 1g of protein per pound and no more than 2g cuz then it will b useless....now the guy told me similar thing he told me that if i consume more than 1.7g of protein per kilo it will b use less....also when cutting is it really that bad 2 eat carbs at night i mean even if u train lat...like i some people say u should stop eating carbs at 6 and some say at 7 and i read in the magazin at 3 lol.....and at the begging at my cutting diet i used 2 stop eating carbs at 6 and it used 2 b hard on me mently i tell u y cuz i used 2 kinda squeez alot of carbs in 1 meal like for eg. 2 cups of oatmeal for breakfast and it used 2 take me hours 2 finish each meal with struggling..so i refined my diest i split it up and now am having carbs with each of my 6 meals a day even at night..i mean is that wrong when cutting 2 eat carbs at night....anyways am hoping that u cuz help me out here..thx..

here is my old diet when i started cutting:

and this is my current diet i hope also somebody help me with counting those grams of protein and carbs in there and tell me wut u all think:

meal1: multivitamin and mineral tablet and omega 3.6.9 tablet
10 egg whites with 2 yolks
1 cup of oatmeal (pre cooked measurment) with 1 cup of water
1 bannaa
1 L of water with 1 tps of coffe

meal2: 1 and a half can of tuna
1 cup of brown rice
1 bannaa
1 L of water

meal3: PREWORKOUT 1 and a half can of tuna
1 cup of brown rice
1 bannaa
half L of water with 1 tps of coffe

meal4: POSTWORKOUT 8 eggwhites and 1 scoop of gatorade powder with 1 banana
1 L of water

meal5: 16 oz. chicken breast
1 cup of brown rice
1 L of water

meal6: 1 cup of cottage cheese
1 cup of oatmeal (pre cooked measurment) with 1 cup of water
half L of water

NOTE: i also drink 1.5 L of crystal light throw out the day
i used 2 eating lots of vegetabls in my prevoius cutting diets but i got sick and tired from the freken tast

hey big guy, im no expert (thats for sure, but ive been dieting for about 6-8 weeks now and this is what i found best.
1. counting calories (even if rough is an absolute **** of a thing to do but helps tremendously.
2. Once you hav ur basic daily intake you can either cycle the total calories on different days, or adjust it weekly.
i found the latter more effective in keeping myself sane. all i did from there was drop the cals by about 100g per week. ive dropped about half a kilo per week consistantly and dont seem to hav dropped to much size.
As for carb/pro/fat ratios, i hav no clue-too many diff opinions. my ratio goes as follows
PRO 40%
CARB 35%
FAT(good of course) 25%

according to chris aceto .. you should drop 30% of your carbs intake .. like if you eat 500 grams of carbs in bulking phase .. eat 350 grams when you bulk .. 30% is more than enough to encourge fat loss and prevent your muscles from breaking down

(peas ain't leafy, but oh well, plenty of fiber and protein!(for a veggy anyway))

Fahad, what time are each of the meals, what time is your workout? When do you do cardio? I can definately tell you right now you need to have more Omega-3's, esp at night.

Also just a little think, i hope you are not eating 3 cans of tuna daily, mercury wise.

no eating carbs after 6!?!?! what about ppl like me that start working out at 6 lol. i mean im not cutting right now but i will be in a few months.

and hdogg ur right about the tuna. I ate tuna all the time up until about 2-3 months ago. I didnt know about the mercury stuff. I always got these body rashes and felt depressed for no reason. I guess it takes about 6 months for the mercury to fully get out of my body, but ive already noticed a difference.

if you work out after six then you cant get around not eating carbs. dont worry about it all that much. on off days just go lower on carbs at night.

my man has finally posted here.. ....well these day i usually have meal 1 around 10 am meal 2 around 1 meal 3 around 4 then workout around 6 then meal 4 around 8 meal then meal 5 around 10 then 30min. cardio then last but not least meal 6 around 1 am..and sometimes i wake up a lil late....plz hdogg help me out here brother and tell tell me how many grams of carbs and protein does a person with slow metabolism like me should consume daily when cutting and bulking...and when is the best time 2 take the omega tablets....also is it bad 2 consume carbs with each of the 6 meal when trying 2 cut and bulk...thx alot bro and thank u guys.... :monkeydan :greddywav ....

i also add multi vitamin fast acting liquid with meal 4...u no my egg whites shake i usually cook it then blended with the other stuff....

it looks okay fahad, any way you could workout earlier say like 2 and maybe do your cardio at like 7? that might be a bit better.

The thing is insulin sensitivity is reduced at night, which is why people reccomend less carbs. This is also an advantageous times to get some more fats in. But, a cup of oatmeal (cooked i assume) has about 45 grams of carbs, which is a fine amount to have with a meal.

But for now definately add 2 omega-3 (not 3-6-9) caps to each food meal meal, these literally rev up your metabolism big time, and prevent weight gain, which is why i reccomend less when bulking. Also add more green tea throughout the day, and especially 30 mins before cardio. If it were me, id have
Meal 1 at 10:00,

Meal 2 at 12

workout at 2

meal 3 post workout (change to 2 scoops protein & 3 tablespoons dextrose)

meal 4: at 5:00, have your orignal pre-workout meal (#3) here

cardio at 7

meal 5 at 8:30 (i assume you mean 6OZ chicken)

meal 6 at 11-11:30 (cut out the carbs here, instead have a tablespoon of flax oil)

Try this for a while. Eventually, once you sort of plateau, the next step would be to cut out the carbs at meal 5.

thx alot my friend but u didnt tell me how many grams of carbs and protein and prolly fat does a person with slow metabolism like me should consume daily when cutting and bulking......thx alot bro...

and meal 5 is 16 ounce not 6 ounce i have a scale and i measured it...its like 2 chicken breasts...i no it sticks out a bit....

I know, i cant posibly answer that, nobody can. Thats a highly individual thing.
