waz up..i was wondering which kind of potatoe is best 2 use when cutting...like wich 1 has the lowest glycimic (wutever) index...i mean is it those brom once or red once or the sweet potatoes...and do u think i can use potatoes instead of brown rice or its better 2 use both in my diet...thx alot... :pop2: ....

i would say both. they are both good when cutting and variety is always key

i eat brown rice .. IMO it's taste better than the white one .. and i eat potato also

I love brown rice...it tastes so friggin' good. I eat potatoes and yams (sweet potatoes) also. Yams are pretty good, but you begin to get sick of them after a while.

yo when i was a lil kid i used 2 put salt on my sweet potoes and my mama used 2 laugh at me..lol...
just a lil question....r yams same as sweet potatoes like they r the same and how many carbs does an 8 ounce sweet potatoe contain or an average size sweet potato contain...thx guys...

I buy them in cans and on the can it says "Sweet Potatoes In Syrup...Yams (cut)." The ingredients are: sweet potatoes, water, corn syrup, sugar. I drain the syrup and just mash up the cut up yam. I believe their the same...it says sweet potatoes on the can, so. A serving size of 2/3 cup (166g) contains:
Calories 160
Total Fat 0.5g
Cholesterol 0mg
Sodium 35 mg
Total Carbs 40g
Protein 0g
