Since there are a lot of proteins on the market, i figured i would help some ppl out by posting my experiences with certain protein powders. Now im not usually one to whine about taste so i believe my reviews should be pretty straight up. But remember everybody has different taste so if ur questioning one of my flavors, by all means do so and if u can, try to get sample packs of one's u would like to try. I know most companies will give u a sample pack on their website if u email them for it. Members feel free to post ur experiences as well with protein powders.
ON's
100% whey: (choco) This whey is by far the most popular whey on the market and it should be b/c it's cheap, reliable, effective, and taste damn good. I havent tried anything but the choco, but it's one of the best tasting choco flavored proteins on the market. This is a highly recommended protein powder!!!
Muscle Milk ( mocha joe, choco, rocky road, vanilla creme). If ur lookin for a variety of flavors then this is ur protein. The best flavor IMO is mocha joe, with vanilla creme coming in a close second. The choco flavored really surprised me cause it sucked. It's too sweet for my liking and I just didnt look forward to downing them like the rest. As far as the rocky road, dont think it's gonna taste like a dip of rocky road
ice cream. The taste was very sweet but not as bad as the choco. Overall though a good blend of proteins and a good variety of flavors.
Dymatize
elite whey ( choco and vanilla) The choco in this flavor is really good and a very close second to ON's choco. It has a good taste that's not too sweet and not too plain. The vanilla on the other hand isnt too bad either but not near as good as muscle milk's vanilla, but if u like vanilla it has a pretty good taste. Overall Dymatize is a very good protein and has a little bit more of a variety then ON's. Either Dymatize or ON is a very good choice for a protein powder.
Nitro Tech ( choco) Im not gonna lie, but this has to be the worse tasting protein on the market. I bought a jug a few years ago and couldnt even finish it and if u know muscletech products then u know they carry a hefty price tag. I really wasted my money on this product. Even if i did like the taste it's way too expensive to keep taking especially with all the new and improved protein powders out there. Not a good protein as far as taste IMO.
VPX Micellean ( Capp ) The capp is a good tasting
casein protein and perfect before bed time. If u like coffee flavor protein powders than this shouldnt dissapoint u. The only thing i dont like about this product is that no matter how hard or long u shake it up it still has a gritty texture to it. Overall though this is a highly recommended casein protein that taste pretty good.
Syntrax
Nectar ( strawberry kiwi) Ive been flamed alot for not liking the taste of this protein. It basically ruined me as far as fruity flavored protein powders are concerned. I just did not like the taste of this particular flavor. The other flavors im sure are pretty good, but after tryin this i was too scared to try any more flavors. As far as quality goes, u cant beat this whey isolate for the money.
GNC's brand 100% whey protein ( choco) I tried this flavor a few years ago also and it really disappointed me. The taste was fairly good it's just that i couldnt get it to mix for anything. There would always be clumps left in it and i just didnt wanna waste time putting it in the blender. Since there have been a 100 better tasting proteins i really dont see any reason buying this.
