In that case Dustin, don't start out with 3 mg. Start out with 1 mg. Your body might react to even that low amount. If not, and as your body becomes accustomed to it (it's not habit forming because it is already naturally produced in your brain, yet you can still become less sensitive to it), you can adjust the dosage to 2-3 mg. Also, it is important that you are taking synthetic melatonin, not the natural form (derived from animal tissue).
