Ok i sort of have a problem i think. My pwo shake consists of 1 scoop of whey, 5g glutamine, 5g BCAAs, and a scoop of glyco-maize which has 35g carbs. Now the problem or at least i think it may be a problem is the fact that my work outs end around 7-7:30ish. Is it a bad thing that im taking in those carbs (eventho i know its very important to get in those pwo carbs) that late in the day?

no its actually the best time to add carbs, post workout you have this 30 min. window where you need to get protein and carbs into your system to basically refuel your body, and carbs play a large role in that window, unless your looking to cut carbs out of your diet for a cut, then tailor your meals so your not over eating carbs with the addition of carbs post workout,, generally simple carbs postwork spike the insulin best, but for me i gain bf like a mother on simple carbs, so i do the waxy maize with protein like your using post workout,, i would drop the glutamine and replace it with some creatine though, glutamine has no proven and by proven i mean scientific proof that it works in powder form, only I.V. form has any been proven to aid in muscle repair ,,

As everybody else said, you'll be fine. I think that whole "carbs before bed" thing is overrated. You should worry more about your daily carb/calorie intake, as opposed to how close it is to your bed time.

Ditto.
I have a post workout shake w/carbs around 7 or 8, depending on when I get home from the gym. Don't worry about it.

agreed with everyone, make sure you get in some complex carbs after that as well to stabilize blood glucose levels, dont fear the carbs,

Depends wether on a cut or bulk. Veg has trace carbs init so pretty low whereas rice is moderate high.

True, veg has trace carbs, but it's mostly fiber. I usually don't even count carbs in green veggies (broccoli, etc).

in my opinion you need complex carb after PWO regardless of cut or bulk the amount will differ of course,

Also new research is showing humans can get most if not all energy from fiber so count it as 3-4kcals

cosign with moro. After my pwo shake, I usually wait an hour and have an actual meal with some complex carbs and a good source of protein

Yea I do the same thing, wait like 45-60 minutes after my pwo shake. But during the week when my workouts are ending around 7 30 and when that time comes fir that whole food meal, it's around 8 30, and that around my before bed meal which is usually cottage cheese and peanut butter.
