I hear you man. Keto is tough stuff. I just finished up 12 weeks of it with refeeds every two weeks. If you can spare the carbs, I'd suggest trying it, it tastes awesome; FF cottage cheese, splenda, cinnamon and you can throw in your macadamia nut oil too. Or try melting in some peanut butter and mixing it with your cottage cheese; tastes awesome to me, although that may run you about 10 g of carbs.
