Hi

Can somone assess my bulking shake I take every day

1 advocado (provides some of the fats I need)
1 bannana
2 scoop protein
2 spoons peanut butter
1&1/2 pint of Milk
2 spoons flax seed oil
1/2 cup raw oats
2tbl spoons semolina (raw)

This ends up filling the blender and I get two meals out of it..

Is this a bulking shake?

Yes I would say that shake is a great bulking up shake. Never heard of avocado's being put in a shake, always see people doing peanut butter for the added fats but you have peanut butter as well. If you put this much focus into a shake, hopefully you put more focus into your actual diet i.e. whole foods as that will give you the most "bang for your buck" (read: you grow the best on whole foods, not shakes; use shakes if time doesn't allow, etc).

Hey

My diet is pretty strong, 7 meals a day , high carb intake+protein!
Morning 3 eggs + bowl cerial + oat biscuit

Shake 1

lunch
potatoes + steak + fruit

shake 2

snack
1 bowl Pasta

dinner
Potatoes + fish + veg

Bed time snack
Rice Cakes + something else (varies)

Shakes are just for times where preparing food is a problem

Do you know wnything about L-Glutamine?

My nutritionist said I should also take this to help me absorb more from my foods she says "its not what you eat, its what you absorb"

Scratch the Glutamine. There are no studies proven that it helps recovery or growth. If you think that diet is strong, then my diet is on steroids lol. Before I, or anyone else gives you advice on a diet, what are your goals?

Absolutely not. Adding on 21 pounds in 3 months will be hard to do even with a major bulk diet but it might be possible with the way some people react to proper nutrition.

Refer to the bulking primer, it's a sticky in the nutrition section. As far as supplements go, simple weight gainers, multi vits, creatine mono, bcaa's will do the trick. Most of the weight and growth will come straight from your food intake. If you want, I can PM you a bulk diet similiar to mine to get you started, but please check the bulking primer first to get an idea of what a bulk really is.

There is plenty of published medical documents on glutamine supplementation. People expect to feel a massive difference from using 10g of glutamine a day. Now 10g of glutamine is benefecial to your intestines because its the most loved nutrient that your intestines feed on which will increase the rate of immune cells and boost immunity, now every bodybuilder needs to stay healthy. But Glutamine also makes up 60% of your bodies dry muscle weight, supplementing glutamine over 2-3 months at 30-40 grams daily will improve recovery and muscle growth but its about consistancy.
