I currently have containers of Nutrabolics Anabolic Trigger and Anabolic Window.. I dunno, it lasted me a little over a month, I wasn't entirely impressed, but then again, I'm a noob. I have a container of EAS whey now, and I've been trying out NO Xplode or Shotgun for the stimulation effects (both of which I was highly disappointed with as they had almost no effect with me at all despite taking it on an empty stomach..)

so some questions,

What makes bulking protein any different from regular whey protein besides the carbs? is that amount of carbs necessary? What are some better and cheaper alternatives to what I've tried? Am I not going to see gains in lean mass if I just stick to regular whey protein and a caloric surplus with emphasis on protein
?

As for pre-workout stimulants, I was thinking about using an ECA stack in a different way from how it's usually used for (cutting). Back when I used to take it, I remember being able to throw boxes around at work like they were nothing (I worked at a warehouse). Taking the eca stack pre workout as a stimulant, you guys think that's a bad idea??

what makes the difference is the whey is just protein, and a "bulk protein" or "weight gainer" has the added carbs and which gives them a higher calorie content in one serving, and makes them quick and easy to get in a higher caloric "meal" in your day
Yes you will see results with just regular whey, alternatives would be to just up your food intake, add more complex carbs and up your protein sources and amounts per each meal,

Jacked3d has been getting real good result for a stimulant pre workout supplement, as for the ECA stack, yea you can take it pre-workout

your welcome bro,, its why were here,,, foods are always going to be your best bet, but ya know its not always convenient to have a meal, which is where a pro-shake or weight gainer would come into play.. good luck with everything

If you can get all your food through whole food then this would be better. There is nothing special about these protein drinks despite what the adverts tell you. They are just an easy way of getting in more protein.
Just like with the weight gain drinks they just let you get more calories and would have the same effect as eating a sandwich for example.
