Whats up guys, I just found out that I will be going to college to play football and thats great and all because I love football, but the coach told me that I really have to bulk up, so I need some advice on how to bulk up without using steroids. As of right now I am just cycling creatine on and off and its working OK but nothing amazing, and I also drink like 2 protein shakes a day. So if you have ANY information about certain supplements that you think would work for me, that would be greatly appreciated.

Height- 6`1
Weight- 255

yeah man, I need to bulk up! I'm a lineman and playing at a D1aa school, all the lineman there are 275-315, and my diet as of right now isnt very good and its not very consistant at all. What should be my daily calorie intake then? And what are some good foods to consistantly eat on a daily basis.

oh gotcha, Well you want lots of good sources of protein, steak, ground beef, chicken, tuna, eggs. Complex carbs, oatmeal, rice, pasta, other carbs should be okay on a bulk like wheat bread, potatos. And i think you should also supplement with olive oil. Im not gonna do up a whole diet for you, but if you make one up ill def look at it. Id aim for at least 6k calories

This is really tough for me because my mom doesnt really like to cook so she will order from the local Italian takeout restuarant and I usually get the chicken parm. there, I know that its not the best thing in the world for you, but what else can I get there that would suit me better.

VOID you must not have ever played football man, 6'1 255 as a lineman at a competitive D1aa school is considered DOG****.

You could get some kind of chicken with whole wheat pasta maybe. What about the rest of the day though? If not you should learn to cook for yourself, the cool thing about "bodybuilding/athletic" foods is they are cheap and easy to make.

I bulked up before I went to play college ball (signed at 210, showed up at 245) Are you playing Offensive or defensive line? Yeah, 6000 calories sounds about right. Just Dont lose speed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wake up at 2am and eat, that is my best advice, in addition to what was said above. Keep doing core lifts(squats, bench, deadlift, powercleans, etc). Good luck!!!

As far as supps, creatine, glutamine, and why, which you can make a nifty weight gain shake which you can find with the search tab int he upper right hand corner. Try homemasde weight gain shake.

Bulking up as a lineman, I would recommend eating everything in sight. Just avoid eating too much junk. 6,000 calories a day sounds good.

ELI80CAL, do you have an AOL or AIM screename, you seem like a person that I can get a lot of information from considering you have played at the level already.

No, I dont, but you can PM me with anything you need to know. Everything said above is the best advice. Honestly too, size will come with time. Im assuming you are a high school senior, just graduated? What is the situation with you redshirting, etc?
