Whats your diet look like?

The best supplements that would influence weight gain would have to be simple protein powders and creatine.

Dude, just concentrate on eating more. You have a super high metabolism because you are 16. Just keep eating calorie dense foods and a lot of protein. Try taking creatine, a multi-vitamin, and BCAAs. Anything else won't really do much. DO NOT take any kind of testosterone booster or anything until you are 21. Read my sticky at the top of this section.

I've been taking 3g of leucine and 35g of dextrose immediately after my workouts, and then having my protein shake 15 minutes later, and i've gained almost 8lbs in a little over a month. You can get leucine and dextrose online.

I'm 6'2" and I weighed 160 pounds when I graduated high school. I didn't start packing on weight until I was 25. Now I'm 220, and pretty lean.

It ALL boiled down to diet. I was eating all the wrong things. You'll also make natural weight gains as you get older.

Yeah, good point. I was thinking of the maximum amount he could do while still having the most natural supplements.

Thanks for all the help guys, I'll be honest, between girl friend, school, my truck, and work, i basically cram down anything I can get my hands on, I work at b-bops in altoona IOWA, and basically eat a bowl of cereal for breakfast, go to work, 1/2 pound cheeseburger, before leaving 1/2 pound cheeseburger, get home, maybe a frozen pizza, eggs on sundays, but I usually work from 3-2 in the morning so I'm getting little sleep, and my girlfriend got really upset when I tried to do a real strict food diet, with the "do you think I'm fat" crap all the time. If anybody could point me in the dorection of a diet already set up that'd be awesome. Thanks again for all the help guys.

looks like your lacking carbs i was the same way a year ago...you need complex carbs(oats, brown rice, sweet potato, ect.) in at least two meals a day and drink a full glass of water before every meal and you gotta work in at least a good 7 hours of sleep, also eating a cup of cottage cheese and a couple spoons of peanut butter before bed will really help, good luck

but you're eating garbage. don't fuel the machine with garbage. Target your nutrition and only cheat once in a while.

Tell your gf that your diet is about you and about being healthy and gaining weight. She may not understand, but it is possible to have a healthy body image and care about what you put into your body. Her struggle may be that any denial of a food type automatically is linked to dieting and being unhappy with appearance. Try and focus on being healthy and how good it makes you feel physically.

Hey Donald
Here's my two cents hope it helps.
First thing I would do it calulate all the caloies I ate for a week. This should be the calories you normally eat when you typically don't gain weight.
Once you have that number look to increase the caloric count in increments of 100 -200 this is where supplements will come in because they are lot easier to count. you'll need to be checking the scale often to look slight inceases in weight. Keep a clean diet as not to put on too much BF though
The second thing I would do is squat. One of th best books I have ever bought was Super Squats available at IronMind in the book section.
When I started getting my squat poudages up and the reps up to the twenty for only one set I saw a dramatic difference in my body compostion. Also I ate like a horse
The thrid thing I did was limit the cardio (at times almost entirely cut it out for a month). I compensated for this by taking short rest between heavy sets 30 second to a minute max. I was 150 lbs for must have been over 10 years at 5' 8'' ish at I was approaching my 40s' back then. Now I'm well into my forthies and I still ahve to watch how much cardio I do. I can say with squat program outlined in Super Squats book and some latose Free supplemtation I filnally made it to 180 - 185lbs and most of this is within the past 18 months. My waist is still 32'' not sure of the other measurements but I'll tell you that my thighs no longer fit in 32'' waist pants which is a good felling.

Good luck
