okay today was a upperbody push day, so by the time i got out to my car my chest was totally deflated like it always is, but i had two shakes in my car one being 40g dextrose + 5g leucine and the other 1.5 scoops ON whey + 30g WMS....i took the Dex+L and instantly felt hungry as hell, then approx. 10 minutes later took the other shake and i gotta say i felt pretty good my chest puffed out and shoulders felt full too....although i felt kinda nauseas on the ride home. Im curious to see how ill look in the morning

and i wanna up the dex to 50 or 60 but i dont have that much left, ill order more this friday when i get paid. Also im not really sure if i should have the WMS with the first or second shake, but i felt really good today taking it with the protein and i think i might throw a little extra leucine in with the protein tomorrow too

You're not gonna look any different in the morning... or at least you shouldn't. Take the dextrose first to get the insulin and the lipoproteins moving and starting to deliver nutrients to the muscles first. Then WMS, then protein shake. Or just dextrose and a protein shake.

I used to mix chocolate ON with WMS, it was pretty good. Try that. It's weird that your chest gets deflatted, mine gets a good pump and bulges. Are you getting a good pump, what's your chest routine like?

no i change drastically morning to morning depending on my diet throughout the day and the quality of sleep i get. And i get a great pump during my workout (p-slin and AAKG) but ten minutes after my last rep i get totally deflated everywhere. I can tell by looking at my nipples...yep my nipples lol because i have literally no body fat and when my nipples look firm and tight im in a anabolic state(dont know if thats the best terminology) and thats usually only during my workout and first thing in the morning if my diet was good that day and i slept well. But i felt good after my double post workout shake experiment today.

My chest is usually Decline DB bench press usually 4 sets to failure 8-10 reps, Incline pushups 4 sets of 30, sometimes chest flys and all my other push stuff that semi involves chest (dips, military press ect.

You should probably stop going to failure. Are you drinking enough water? My chest always looks pretty similar. I'm surprised to hear that yours changes from day to day. Well I'm gonna go do HIIT uphill, oh joy lol.

That could be it, 1/2 gallon's a lot for just the time of a workout, but I don't think anythign negative would come, probably only positives actually. I actually didn't do HIIT I thought about it and I shouldn't do that on a bulk. On my cut sometime in like a year I'll do it.

actually i think my upperbody has been atrophizing alot more since i started doing legs/deadlifts once a week....so i think im gonna stop doing a lowerbody hypertrophy and just do some light HIIT once a week to keep my legs toned....because my chest, shoulders, back and traps all looked better a week ago than they do now and my diet and sleep quality have all been very good this past week...

Training legs will never take away from chest. That would be a big mistake, squats add to your bench because of the hormone release. Seriously you need to train legs.

You can't do light high intensity interval training haha. The only thing that I can think of other than diet and sleep making you look smaller is, A) a cut, which I don't think you're doing or you wouldn't be asking why your shrinking haha, or B) the increase in training legs and doing deads in too much and your overtraining.

Now given they release more test but they also place a huge tax on the CNS. So you need to not do them on the same day and seperate the days that you do the two movements. Start resting a little more and/or stop a rep or two farther from failure. In the long run though deads and squats will without a doubt be the best exercises you do.

i hear you i do...but whenever i do lowerbody hypertrophy i stay sore for 3-4 days afterwards and i can feel my upperbody shrinking during the leg recovery days, but your right about doing deads and legs on the same day prolly kills my CNS and that leads to the atrophy

Oh without a doubt bro if you're doing them on the same day stop... now haha. If you're sore for days you're over training. Stop farther from failure like I said above and you won't be as sore, but you'll get an actually better workout. Meaning you won't overtrain.
