Ok so I'm wondering if any protien is lost from a whey shake if you where to
just let it sit for a few minutes. Let's say I make my shake right after I'm done lifting and drink half before I do cardio then finish the shake after cardio is over. Does anything happen to the shake while it just sits there?

from what i know you don't loose anything, but why wouldn't you just take it all after your cardio?
I could be completely wrong but i think you'd get the same if you did that.

The only time protein starts to become ineffective is if you're using expired protein.....it starts to break down over time.. Hell as soon as it's made it starts to break down...

Sipping your pwo shake during your cardo is good....

After 24 hours it tends to denature a little, but other than that ur fine dude. Don't worry too much about it.

Creatine is a different story.

Yup, the protein evaporates lol. Nope the protein's all there, where would it go? Like Zack said, it might denature after a while but that's it.

It is best to consume the protein within 2-4 hours once its been made. Protein can denature over time. But its more the taste and smell that would **** it all up for me lol
