It happens, to much caffeine can cause you to become shaky in the hands, head, where ever, just be careful, start to drink water to help with it.

Yeh its normal man, caffeine plays with the CNS (central nervous system) so shakes are normal just drink water like said above and eat some nutritious foods and it will pass with time.

Don't see why not.

I know Branch Warren hammers some coffee into him before workouts.

Isn't NO-Xplode just filled with caffeine anyway?

Yeh drinking coffee is fine when dieting just gotta watch the nasties like milk and sugar. But there are substitutes for that.

You just haven't had caffeine in a while and maybe you have a lower tolerance for it. I think caffeine's affect lasts for about five hours so I'm sure it will wear off.

You guys are rookies. Coffee/caffeine has been a long known supplement to bodybuilding and bodybuilders everywhere. I drink like 3-4 cups a day, which may be too much. If you don't drink coffee it will affect you when you try, causing jitters and GI distress, it is a natural laxative, so beware. I started drinking coffee my 3rd year of college, because I started studying, and never looked back. Green/Black tea also has caffeine, but less, and may be a nice alternative to the bitter taste of coffee w/ requires sweeteners and creamers.

Good luck.

I drink that amount and it has never hurt me. Here are just a few of the news articles I've run across since I started my fitness blog:

Strong and Fit: Lose Fat, Build Muscle: Coffee Linked to Reduced Stroke Risk

Strong and Fit: Lose Fat, Build Muscle: Study: Drinking coffee reduces risk of Alzheimer's

I played around with both caffeine pills to extend working hours and drinking coffee socially (that worked in my 20's and 30's) but when I got to late 30's I got tremendous bleeding from my nose- no blood pressure problems detected by the hospital or doctors afterwards. I switched to green tea, and no more nose bleeds!
