Omega 3 Fish Oil

We all know that Omega 3 Fish Oil is good for you so I am not getting into that.

My questions are:

1. Is it ok to take Omega 3 supplement but not Omega 6? I'd take it too if I could but at the moment, I need to budget my spending and I just cannot afford both. I buy multivitamins and Whey protein too.

2. As with cutting the costs, I am taking 1 cap a day of Fish Oil when the recommended serving is 2 capsules. I am thinking 1 cap is better than nothing. Is this true or does my lowering the dosage, I am making it ineffective rather than less effective?

Do you eat fish,i.e tuna or salmon.. or any other fish? If you do you get the omega's in them.... and its better

IMO there's no reason to supplement fat in ur diet unless ur using it to cook with. Other than that it's pointless. Just go with what's below:

Fish
Smart Balance Butter
Organic Eggs

Omega 3 has alot of benefits. Now supplementing one capsule daily wont make much or any difference at all. To answer your omega 6 question No it is not necesarry to supplement both together omega 3 has many more vital roles in the body over omega6. Omega3 supplementation for bodybuilders is extremely benefecial Omega3 at a therapeutic dose 6000-10000mg daily will lower inflammation and spare your joints so u can bodybuild inury free :) As well as all the essential fats and brain/heart benefits.

i dont know if its just me but when i take my fish caps consistently my back acne clears up, another guy i know says the same thing

I work with a girl who specializes in mental health and is an addictions counselor. She's told me that fish oil also helps with mental health and helps to improve mood.
